January’s Book of the Month

This month’s book was selected by my friend, Kelli. She lives in Iowa and teaches 5th grade. I met her for the first time on a girl’s trip I went on. She is such a light and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to get to know her.

She chose The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. This book was originally suggested to her by our mutual friend’s mom. 

From what I’ve read so far, Walls invites you in through her prose and keeps you hooked through her exquisite writing. This book has been such a treat to read. I will give an update on the book after we’ve all read it to give some key things that really stuck with us.
